The Ono Estadi stadium in Palma (formerly San Moix) is the home of Real Mallorca FC. Matches are played on alternate Sunday afternoons between September and March.
Real Mallorca FC have enjoyed many successes, including earning a place in Europe in 1999 and have been in the Spanish First Division table for more than 10 years. In 2007/08 the ex-striker for the club (Daniel González Güiza) achieved top scorer in the league with 27 goals, a feat achieved without a single penalty kick.
