Gordiola Glass, Algaida

Traditional glassmaker and factory

Glassware made the traditional way. Products include lighting (laterns, lamps, candlesticks), tableware (bottles, jugs, bowls), glasses and vases and other other decorative peices.

Founded by the Gordiola family, the origins of this unique glass factory date back to 1719. Inspiration for its designs came from the famous glassmakers in Venice's islands of Murano, where one of the family members learned the trade.

You can watch the glassmakers at work in the factory next to the boutique.
