Discover how Mallorcans lived in prehistoric times in this archaeological museum, where you can see the results of excavations carried out on the site of Son Fornes.

The museum is housed in an 18th-century flour mill and is close to Montuiri, in the centre of the island, and the dig site (Son Fornes) is located 2.4 kilometres away. It is best to visit the museum first as there is little information at Son Fornes itself.

The exhibition shows the results of an excavation in 1988. Visitors can find out more about Mallorca's prehistoric origins in the 10th century BC through to the island's Roman conquest in the year 123 BC.
