HSPA Valparaiso Palace Spa

This superb spa is 3,000m2 and situated within a luxury hotel close to all local amenities in Palma de Mallorca yet far enough away to enjoy a peaceful setting. The spa's name, HSPA, represent their core principals of Holistic Health, Harmony, Healing and Happiness.

You are certainly spoilt for choice here when it comes to facilities as well as treatments. You'll find a salt-water heated pool with adjoining indoor and outdoor areas, different hydrotherapy facilities such as heated water beds and pressure jets, a jacuzzi, and various types of thermal areas (Salt inhalation steam room, Herbal Sauna, Finish Sauna, Turkish Bath, Ice Fountain, Hydrotherapy Foot Bath, Kneipp walk and a variety of sensory showers). Their relaxation area comprises a tranquil lounge, and a meditation lounge with meditation capsules.

For the most active, there is a fitness centre with a great selection of cardio and weight training machines. The spa offers a comprehensive daily fitness and well-being programme to support short term and long term physical aspirations. Both Yoga and Pilates classes run regularly.

The extensive treatments menu includes massages, facials, scrubs and wraps with special Pregnancy treatments. HSPA also offers several fantastic packages (see 'What to do' section) for individuals and couples to enjoy some perfect pampering.

You can also book yourself in for some beauty therapy, either trying out a new look at their hair saloon or having a make over with their make-up artists. They offer both evening and Bridal make-up services as well as waxing treatments.

The spa is open to both hotel guests and non-guests alike. For non-guests the prices to access the spa are:

• Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 15:00: €35 per person
• Monday to Friday, 15:00 - 21:00: €40 per person
• Monday to Friday, 19:00 - 21:00: €20 per person
• Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays: All day €50 per person
