This 2014 Sun Odyssey is a performance cruiser from renowned French naval architect Philippe Briand. LATITUD 5 is a handsome double-spreader fractional sloop with a low coachroof/profile that carries its considerable beam aft. Her width aft means she's great on a Reach.
The entire cockpit layout is spacious and well designed with the steering pedestals, which double as curved seatbacks for the cockpit benches. She'll sail well easily making 7 knots in a moderate breeze. The cockpit table and bimini turn the aft section of the boat into a spacious outside entertaining area. There's a radio cassette/CD player onboard and also a deck shower and swim ladder for when you want to cool off and take a swim.
Below deck is spacious with a large U-shaped settee part of which doubles as a seat for the aft facing navigation station. There's plenty of room in the well-equipped galley which takes up the starboard midships section in an open plan design.
She comes with a towable dinghy and full safety kit including life raft, life jackets, flares, fire extinguishers, bosun's chair, First Aid Kit, Foghorn, EPIRB and VHF. She has Autopilot, GPS Plotter and wind equipment, log and sounder.
