Updated

The Corpus Christi feast celebrates the presence of Christ in the Eucharist and is celebrated two months after Easter Sunday.

One of the oldest celebrations in Palma, the Corpus Christi processions date back to the Middle Ages. Celebrations start at Palma cathedral, where a solemn mass is held, presided over by the Bishop of Mallorca.

Then the procession begins, from La Seu to Plaça Cort, accompanied by marching bands. Flowers carpets are laid down at the main entrance of the cathedral
