Festival del Vino at Museo Es Baluard
Wine festival and tasting with winemakers from the Balearics
Winemakers and grape growers will meet this Thursday at the Palma museum Es Baluard for the third edition of 'Festival del Vino'.
The event which has been organised by Isla Catavinos has been set up to bring wine producers together to talk about technical aspects of growing and cultivating grapes for making wine.
Despite the bulk of the event being for wine growers and professionals only, those wanting to join in on the wine tasting can do so from 7.30-9.30pm at Museo Baluard. If you fancy going along you must pick up a pass from the Isla Catavinos wine shop in the industrial estate on the outskirts of Palma, 6 Carrer Poima, beforehand.
There will be over fifty wines to taste at the Festival del Vino and afterwards the festival will be hosting an afterparty at El Garito on the Paseo Maritimo from 10pm where there will be more wine and of course tapas to line the stomach!
