The town of Sa Pobla celebrates local rice
Rice has been traditionally cultivated in the wetlands that surround Sa Pobla for centuries, that's why the town celebrates the crop during its autumn agricultural festival.
Local Sa Pobla rice is ideal to cook typical 'arros brut', a dish that is usually eaten in November when temperatures on the island are lower. The festivities coincide with Sa Pobla's 'Menjar be' festival when local bars and restaurants offer special menus.
