Taxible App Now Available in Mallorca
A new mobile App, Taxible, is available for calling and booking a taxi in Mallorca.
The Taxible App uses the GPS in your phone to pin-point your location and shows you the nearest taxi to you. You are then told the distance from your cab and it’s estimated time of arrival. The App also lets you know the make and registration of your taxi and even includes a picture of your driver. Best of all it eliminates the need to pay for a call to the dispatcher or try and say the name of the street you are on in Spanish.
The App is available on I-Phone and Android devices and is free to download. It has already been launched in Malaga, Valencia, Elche and Jerez de la Frontera. In Mallorca 70 cabs from the Palma fleet have signed up for the system and more are hoped to follow.
