It was always going to be hard to replace the now infamous Mallorca Rocks with something similar that would attract the music and DJ crowd to the party Island of Mallorca....

But it seems that the Cursach Group, with over 40 years experience behind them, have taken on the challenge and are set to re-open the Mallorca Rocks Hotels in April 2015 as the even bigger and better BH Hotel Complex. The group, who are known for running numerous café's, bars, restaurants and the renowned BCM Planet Dance Club - voted this year's second best night club in the World! - have decided to move into the hotel sector and have appointed their first female of the board, Katy Sayburn, as the Director General of new Grupo Cursach Hotels.

This exciting project is set to open on 30th April 2015 and is aimed at young tourists from 18 to 30 years of age, creating a new experience in the tourist market with accommodation, a beach club, concerts and big name DJ's and now the addition of a water park all in one holiday complex. Set to be the first over 18's only water park in the World, it will offer eight exciting and thrilling slides and a wave pool. The music theme will continue with the promise of two live acts by some of the Worlds leading DJ's and dance musicians every week, plus live chill out music throughout the day by the swimming pools.

The outdoor concert space which in the past has hosted names such as Ed Sheran, Kaiser Chiefs and Fatboy Slim will now be re-named the 'Live Gig Arena' and will focus on bring the World's most famous DJ's to the Island of Mallorca.

When asked about the all inclusive nature of the resorts, Director General Katy Sayburn, said that customers do have free food and drink between the hours of 11:00 and 20:00, however they would prefer to think of the inclusive price as more of a '4 for 1' offer as you will gain access to the aqua park, beach club, concerts and of course food and drink during your visit, all for just one price.

Renovations will start in the off-season this October so that they can re-open as BH Mallorca in April 2015 with further renovations of the Hotels taking place in 2016. Stay tuned to keep track of the new project and to see who they have in their line-up for 2015 gigs!
