Luxury Boutique Can Alomar Opening on the Passeig del Born this May
The Can Alomar Hotel will open this May on the Passeig del Born in the heart of Palma de Mallorca.
The hotel will be in a beautiful listed building on the famous street just a short walk from the Cathedral, Almudaina Palace and gardens and surrounded by some of the best shops and designed boutiques in Palma.
The hotel is one of many boutique hotels that have opened in the last ten years as investors see Mallorca as an attractive prospect for city break and boutique hotels doubling the number of hotels in the capital since 2003. Last year there were three new hotels opening in the old town of Palma Mallorca alone and 2014 could see as many as seven new boutique hotels opening.
The new Hotel Can Alomar will be the third hotel to be opened by the husband-and-wife team of entrepreneur Miguel Conde Moragues and architect Cristina Martí Crespí, following the opening, two and a half years ago, of the Hotel Can Cera, and the Boutique Hotel Calatrava.
The Luxury Can Alomar will be a welcome addition to the new style of luxury urban boutique hotels in Palma. The hotel will have sixteen rooms equipped with king sized beds and promises a rooftop solarium terrace with a swimming pool, Jacuzzi and a relaxation and massage room. Outside there will be a terrace on the Passeig del Borne where guests can enjoy breakfast.
