Three new stars for hotels in Cala Mayor
Upgrade for hotels in Palma
Three Luabay hotels in Cala Mayor have each received a new star rating. The three hotels in Palma have all gone from three stars to four after each was given a renovation for the 2012 summer. Five million was spent on the three hotels in Cala Mayor, the resort on the edge of Palma de Mallorca.
The resort is well located with a sheltered bay and sandy beach that is popular with local residents and holiday makers. Althoug in recent years the area has started to look a little tired and this injection of capital is hoping to return the bay to it's former, glory days.
The three hotels are the Luabay Marivent, Luabay and Luabay Costa La Cala Palma and the rejuvenation has created 120 new jobs in the area.
