Huddersfield based travel agency Villa Parade has gone into liquidation in the last few weeks, leaving many holiday makers wondering if they'll be able to get compensation for their holidays or flights.

The business Air Parade Limited, was trading under the names of Villa Parade and Luxury Villa Escapes.

Administrators are currently assessing the scale of the problems at the travel company who rented out a large number of villas in Mallorca and Portugal, as well as offering flights.

There are believed to be around 70 people currently on holiday booked through Villa Parade, around 1300 with bookings pending and 400 with flights (booked through Air Parade).

ABTA is dealing with a large number of queries and handling refunds, and anyone that has booked with Villa Parade is advised to speak to them in the first instance.

You can follow the latest chat on twitter #villaparade or if you would like to re-book your holiday, then you can speak to one of these rental agents or have a look through the individual villas we have listed.
