Colonia Sant Pere becomes pet-friendly in October 2016
Mallorca has been trying to lengthen the tourist season for the past couple of years, and Artà might have found a great solution: turning the resort of Colonia Sant Pere into a pet-friendly destination in October.
Local authorities have decided to transform the town into pet paradise during the low season, and have been working with pet-travelling company Harmony Travel-G4D to make it possible.
They will organise activities for visitors with four-legged companions, seek out pet-friendly hotels and even charter a plane to bring tourists from Sweden together with their dogs. In winter, all beaches in Artà are open to dogs, so new coastline trails could be open and events set up. Great news for our furry friends!
