The Balearic government have just announced that Palma Son Sant Joan airport will be linked with the most popular beach resorts in Mallorca via five regular bus lines. This service will start next May and continue until October.

Over a million passengers are expected to use this new bus service, which will allow visitors to reach their final beach destinations without having to stop over in Palma city centre. These five lines will connect the airport with Cala d'Or & Portopetro, Cala Millor & S'Illot, Playa de Alcùdia & Can Picafort, Santa Ponça and Magaluf.

They will run every 60 or 90 minutes and have a set price which has not yet been disclosed.
