In the months of July and August it's just too hot to take horses out during the day. It’s no fun for the riders and even less for the horses. They ride through the sandy tracks and lanes, across mowed fields, against the backdrop of the mountains and find their way into Sa Pobla where they have permission to tie up at one of two restaurants. Specialities include Mallorcan Frito, crispy chicken wings, fried squid, chorizo, tortilla, cod in tomato sauce and fresh anchovies There is fresh bread and pastries available.
