The travel comparison site Gopili has studied the routes served by 12 low-cost companies in Europe. Palma de Mallorca's airport ranks eleventh in number of flights operated by them.

Spain is the second country with the highest amount of low-cost routes, 837, only behind the UK with 935. Palma is also the second city in Spain with a total of 91 journeys served by low-cost companies.

These numbers confirm once more the appeal of Mallorca among European tourists, a well-deserved attractiveness that makes it one of the first choices for holiday-goers.
