Spanish Air Traffic Controllers Call For Partial Strikes in June
Partial strike action announced for the 1st time in 26 years
The Union of air traffic controllers announced on Wednesday this week that they are calling for strike action on the 8th, 10th 12th and 14th June between the hours of 10:00 - 12:00 and 18:00 - 20:00.
They are doing this in response to a decision to discipline the air traffic controllers who took strike action back in 2010.
Apparently 81% of the unions members were agreement for the strike to go ahead.
The last time the group took such action was in 1989, 26 years ago.
