The Electric Light Orchestra's music has been the soundtrack to a generation who grew listening to anthems such as 'Strange magic', 'Last train to London', 'Mr Blue Sky' and 'Xanadu'. Some of these songs and more were played last Saturday at Port Adriano by rock band The Orchestra, made up of former members of ELO plus some new faces.

The concert started at 22:00 with Louis Clark and Mik Kaminski - and his famous blue violin - on stage. The Orchestra played some ELO's most famous tunes to the sound of a cheering crowd, closing the two-hour gig with 'Last train to London'. An after-party took place at Port Adriano with DJ Marcelo Jorquera behind the turntables until late into the night, the perfect finish for a great celebration of classic 70's rock.

The Electric Light Orchestra was born in 1970 in Birmingham (UK) and sold over 50 million records until they split up in 1986. The Orchestra was created by some of the ELO's former members in 2000. Their concert in Mallorca was the last of their five dates in Spain this summer, before heading to the United States.
