Arume Restaurant

Gourmet Asian Mediterranean fusion restaurant in the heart of Palma

Arume Restaurant, located in the centre of Palma de Mallorca, is the place where chef Tomeu Martí expresses his cuisine with complete freedom. After more than thirteen years shaping Arume and travelling widely, he has brought together his two strongest influences: Mediterranean and Asian cooking. The result is a personal style that blends ingredients, flavours and textures with precision and originality, without fitting into any fixed definition beyond its own name.

The restaurant itself is elegant and contemporary, with a large open kitchen surrounded by a long counter. From here, diners can watch Tomeu Martí and his team at work, whether shaping rice, slicing fish with care or finishing each dish with quiet attention to detail. This close connection between kitchen and dining room is central to the experience.

The menu features a selection of the chef’s signature dishes, many inspired by Japanese cuisine but always viewed through a Mediterranean lens. Options include delicate tempura, refined sashimi, nigiri with local touches and carefully balanced rice dishes. Plates are intentionally simple in appearance, allowing flavour and texture to take the lead.

Arume also offers an extensive and carefully curated wine and sake list. For those seeking something more personal, the omakase menu invites guests to place their trust in the chef, enjoying a bespoke tasting experience guided by the finest available ingredients.
