Location
Puigpunyent

Bodegas Son Puig is a small family-run winery producing wine from the Son Puig estate in the Puigpunyent valley, located within the Serra de Tramuntana in Mallorca. A limited series of wines are made from manually picked grapes grown exclusively onsite.

Bodegas Son Puig is a small, family-owned winery located in the picturesque Puigpunyent valley within Mallorca's UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana. The estate produces limited quantities of wine exclusively from its own vineyards, cultivating both indigenous varieties like Prensal Blanc, Giró Ros, and Callet, as well as international grapes such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Malvasia, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo. All grapes are hand-harvested and meticulously selected on the vine, ensuring the highest quality for their wines, which are crafted under the Mallorca Protected Geographical Indication.

The Son Puig estate boasts a rich history, with records of vineyards dating back to 1597. Today, the winery harmoniously blends traditional architecture with modern winemaking technology, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and heritage preservation. Visitors are welcome to explore the estate and purchase wines directly, though it's advisable to arrange appointments in advance due to the absence of fixed visiting hours.

Located just a 15-minute drive from Palma, Bodegas Son Puig offers an authentic Mallorcan wine experience amidst stunning natural surroundings.
