BBC Radio 1Xtra - live from Mallorca

BBC Radio 1Xtra will broadcast live from the island of Mallorca, for the very first time tonight. The event, split over two venues, will be hosted by Trevor Nelson, Tim Westwood, MistaJam and DJ Target.

The evening kicks off with a huge, outdoor party at the Mallorca Rocks Hotel. Thousands of revellers are expected to attend the free, ticketed event. Expect classic anthems and the hottest tunes of the summer, with guest appearances from Chipmunk, Mann and Lethal Bizzle.

The fun continues on-air from midnight when the Radio 1Xtra crew transfer to the biggest club on the island, BCM Planet Dance. During a five hour Radio 1Xtra/ Radio 1 simulcast, listeners will hear all the action from the 8,500 capacity crowd. There will be personal appearances from the legendary Ms Dynamite and rapper of the moment Wretch 32 in the main room. Bass and dubstep, hosted by MistaJam, will feature in the second room with appearances from Chase & Status (DJ Set), True Tiger, Jakwob and MC host P Money.
