The Valley of the Oranges, in which the charming villages of Sóller and Fornalutx are located, honours its two most important products: orange and lemons. They are the main actors of an agenda of events and the dishes of the restaurants of this region.

Set in the heart of the lush Sóller Valley, the Fira de la Taronja is a vibrant celebration of one of Mallorca’s most iconic treasures,  its sweet, sun-ripened oranges. Framed by the dramatic peaks of the Tramuntana mountains, this annual festival brings the town of Sóller to life with colour, flavour, and tradition.

Several restaurants of the three municipalities are offering tasting menus at affordable prices, where citrus fruit is one of the most important ingredients, showcasing everything from fresh seafood with orange-infused sauces to delicate pastries and refreshing cocktails. The highlight is the main fair weekend, when Sóller’s central square fills with market stalls, tastings, live music, and cooking demonstrations, all dedicated to the island’s beloved fruit.

More than just a food festival, the Fira de la Taronja is a tribute to Sóller’s agricultural heritage and a joyful gathering of locals and visitors alike. It’s a chance to slow down, sample authentic flavours, and experience the warmth and charm of Mallorca at its most genuine.
