The 'Setmana de la Música Antigua' is celebrated every summer in the coastal town of Colonia de Sant Pere showcasing music composed before the 19th century.
The use of original ancient musical instruments and a historicist approach to the performance of the musical pieces are part of the festival's DNA. There are also film screenings, book presentations and workshops on ancient music.
