Example set to feature in the 2013 Mallorca Rocks line-up
Headline act of 2011 returns to the music venue for DJ sets
London born dance artist Example will take to the stage at Mallorca Rocks in 2013 for a summer residency in the islands. Example announced 11 summer shows at the Mallorcan live music venue for next year.
Example will be joined by long-term collaborator DJ Wire. There will be 10 Example and DJ Wire shows on Thursday evenings at the We Are Rockstars (W.A.R!) party from 20th June and he will play a full festival live show on Tuesday 13th August.
Example's summer residency is due to the fantastic support and crowds he had when supporting Dizzee Rascal at the Rocks in 2009, Calvin Harris in 2010 and then his own headliner in 2011.
Example's most recent single Say Nothing was released in September 2012 and debuted at no.2 in the UK Charts. This year he was also nominated for a BRIT Award in the British Single category for "Changed The Way You Kissed Me".
Gigs at Mallorca Rocks are held every Tuesday night in the summer season and start on the 4th June 2013, finishing on the 17th September. The We Are Rockstars (W.A.R!) party is every Thursday evening.
Tickets for Mallorca Rocks went on sale in July with tickets for the gig costing €40 plus booking fee. Early booking discounts still apply if you book before 31st December where you will receive a 15% discount. Mallorca Rocks holidays are also available, where you can book 5 nights hotel accommodation and Mallorca Rocks gig tickets. Prices start from £86 per person.
