Cult teenage sitcome 'The Inbetweeners' has come to Majorca to film scenes for the movie of the series. Crew and cast have settled into hotels in Calvia, where they will be based for the two week shoot. Many of the scenes will be set in Magaluf, the party captial for young Brits on holiday in Mallorca.

The film is due for release on the 19th August 2011 and will follow the adventures of four tennage boys as they take a holiday to Crete after their A-level exams. The weather has been kind for filming this week, with sunshine and blue skies, and temperatures hitting a very comfortable 20 degrees - no doubt appreciated by the actors whose adventures will include larking around in the swimming pool.

'The Inbetweeners' stars James Buckley, Simon Bird, Blake Harrison & Joe Thomas, and is written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris. The series has been televised on E4 and Channel 4.
