Holidays in Mallorca Starting a Month Early for Summer 2014
Mallorca's tourist season will start early this year with hotels and restaurant in the major resorts planning on opening in the middle of February.
Normally the resorts don't open until Easter but bouyed but positive early bookings the hotel and restaurant associations in the resorts of Playa de Muro, Port Soller, Cala Milloe, Alcudia, Can Picafort, Cala d'Or, Playa de Palma, Cala Rajada and areas of Calvia will open in the middle of next month.
The openings will be gradual but the descision to open six to eight weeks early has meant that tourists from the UK can make the most of early holidays after one of the stormiest winters in recent memory.
