Back in February 2011 it was announced that Rafael Nadal was planning on opening a centre dedicated to nurturing talented tennis players from around the world.

The tennis centre is being built on the outskirts of Manacor, Nadal's home town, and will home around 200 students and athletes.

As well as practical lessons and coaching, and various sports facilities there will also be a number of classrooms for pupils to learn in.

The large centre is due to be opened in September to coincide with the start of the academic year.
