13,000 euros spent on a lifeguard and buoy chain
Sa Calobra beach will be getting a lifeguard over the next three months, and a new buoy chain to prevent boats coming too close to shore.
The beach is becoming more and more popular each year, and so the local mayor decided that better safety features were needed to protect its visitors.
The cost of installing the buoy chain & lifeguard is said to be 13,000 euros.
