Superyacht Cup, Palma de Mallorca

Established in 1996, Palma's Superyacht Cup is a four day regatta that takes place each year in June. It is the longest running superyacht regatta in Europe, a unique gathering of some of the world's largest, privately owned sailing yachts.

To qualify as a ‘superyacht' boats must be over 24m in length. The Superyacht Cup uses a specially developed handicap system to allow yachts of very different designs and length to compete against each other.

Supported by local government and the tourism authorities, the regatta is designed to showcase the Balearic Islands as one of the best superyacht bases in the world. And this year a number of enterprising superyacht brokers are organising a mini boat show to coincide with the event. Interested parties will be able to view a total of 18 sailing yachts and 12 motor yachts.
