Torrential Rain Hits Mallorca!

Cold, wet and rainy? Typical bank holiday weather for the UK perhaps, but you would have expected the weather to be a little kinder in Mallorca! Sadly, today has seen huge storms hit the island, with rain so heavy that many motorists pulled over to avoid having to drive in it. So much rainfall came down this afternoon that the drains were struggling to cope, and a great deal of standing water collected around low-lying areas. With the rain set to continue through tomorrow, it looks like we'll just have to wait a few more days for summer.
