An annual night fair celebrating local gastronomy, artisan crafts and traditional Mallorcan culture.
Ariany Night Fair
Crafts, food & entertainments
Every summer, the small village of Ariany comes alive for its much-loved Fira Nocturna, an annual night fair that brings together the best of local food, artisan crafts and traditional Mallorcan culture. Held each July in the village's Plaza Mayor, the fair kicks off around sunset and runs well into the balmy evening.
The highlight for many visitors is the ball de bot, Mallorca's traditional folk dancing, performed by local dance schools and established groups from across the island. After the formal performances, the dance opens up to everyone, so don't be shy about joining in. It's a wonderfully inclusive evening that feels genuinely rooted in village life rather than put on for tourists.
Entry is free, and parking is available on the outskirts of the village. If you're planning a road trip through Mallorca's interior in late July, Ariany makes a lovely addition to your route. Check the Ariany Ajuntament website closer to the time for the confirmed date and full programme for the current year.
