Sant Pere is the patron saint of fishermen and many of Mallorca's ports celebrate the days around the 29th of June for him.
There is a cercavila (parade) in the Fiestas de Sant Pere of Port de Pollença, with Pollença’s band of bugles and drums. A popular 'sardinada' (grilled sardines), exhibitions of ballroom dancing and ball de bot (typical dances of Mallorca) and the Mercadet of Sant Pere market are some of the activities you can enjoy if you decide to visit this beautiful town during these dates.
