Doble 8 Indoor Climbing Centre

High climbing routes, bouldering area, a cafe and specialised shop

Located on the outskirts of Palma, this is the highest indoor climbing centre in Mallorca, also offering indoor and outdoor courses.

On their 8m high climbing wall, they have over 30 climbing routes with more than 3200 holds. There are also areas for warming up and working out, events, a specialised store, a 4m high bouldering area and an acrobatics area with trapeze.

They offer indoor and outdoor lessons (rock climbing and water soloing), from beginners to instructors and children, as well as rappel, canyoning, slacklining, vertical dance and circus acrobatics lessons.

Open Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 22:00; Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 16:00 to 22:00; Saturday from 10:00 to 20:00. Closed on Sunday.

The island hosts all sorts of events, including agricultural fairs in the spring and autumn, live music and DJs in the summer, religious fiestas and international sporting events. Some of the most popular are the Mallorca 312 cycling race in April, the Copa del Rey sailing regatta in July and the Moors vs Christians mock battle in September.
