Ever dreamt of owning your own villa in Mallorca? Well, with Villas Petra Mallorca you can hire your very own villa and sample just how that feels to have your very own slice of paradise. Miguel Brontons tells us more...

Tell us a little bit about your business, how it started out and where you're based...

Villas Petra Mallorca is a family business which started in 2007 approximately. Antonia Susana Homar, Andres and Margarita daughter’s, has been leading this project since then. Starting back then with just 2 houses, we can now offer 8 houses in this beautiful Mallorcan complex. It has one of the best surroundings on the island with beautiful countryside all around and only a 15 minute journey from the beach. Our family has been working in this type of business for more than 50 years offering our clients a high quality service with very good prices.

What makes Mallorca a special place to be for someone in your profession / in general?

It’s a very special island with a perfect climate, Mediterranean countryside, lovely beaches, gastronomy.....and we love to offer this way of life to people that want to experience something very authentic.

What are the best bits about your job?

When our customers are satisfied with the Villas and our services, it means that we have helped to make their holiday a very special experience and we happy to be a part of that.

And the worst bits?

Winter time.

What is in store for the future with your business, any exciting projects in the pipelines that you can share with us?

We would like to have a bigger range of offers and facilities for our customers. We have different fruit trees within the grounds so they can make their own juices, there are all types of traditional Mallorcan animals... Currently we are preparing a sports area where our customers will be able to practice: tennis, volleyball, bowls....and along side this we are preparing a thermal swimming pool and new services especially for those clients who are cyclists.

Where would send someone who was after that something 'something special' in Mallorca, to stay, eat or drink?

I would send them to "Villas Petra Mallorca", where they will find all they wish! Peace, calm, beautiful environment, sunshine, luxury, the option for privacy and self catering, or to be spoilt and pampered. We also have a lovely restaurant which serves typical Mallorcan food so you can experience the authentic Mallorcan lifestyle.

Your favourite place for lunch or dinner, if you're just looking for a quick bite to eat?

Tapas in the old town in Palma is a must for everyone.

What do you do when you're not working?

Enjoy the nature of our island: beach or mountains, depending on my mood.

Mountain bike or road bike? What's your preference & why?

Both, I consider that we have a big variety of cyclists. For some years now Mallorca has become one of the most popular destinations for all types of cyclist.

Where is your favourite beach?

Es Caragol, near Ses Salines.

What's your tip to escape the crowds in the summer?

Searching for the small beaches, it’s an adventure.....it’s a real paradise!!!!!
