Balmy spring 2017 in Mallorca
This spring will be warmer than the seasonal average
Spain's National Meteorology Agency (AEMET) have just released their seasonal prediction for spring 2017. Mallorca will enjoy slightly higher temperatures than what is normal this time of year, so beach season will be on even earlier this year!
The usual average temperature in Mallorca during the spring months is 16ºC. However, this year the mercury will slowly but steadily rise reaching an average of 18ºC or even higher in May and June.
This winter has also been warmer than usual, with an average temperature of almost 12ºC. Precipitations, on the other hand, have been twice as frequent as the average rate, making it the rainiest winter in Mallorca since 1926 and the second rainiest in Ibiza since 1952.
