This Saturday the lively Market of Sant Rescat will be held in Plaça Quadrado, in Palma's old town. From 10.00 to 19.00 there will be over 80 stalls selling vintage and second hand goods, Art, and artisan products.

There'll be vegan food, Moroccan tea as well as traditional Mallorcan snacks. The atmosphere promises to be relaxed and family friendly, with a swing band The Lindies setting the tone at 13.00.

This will be the sixth market organised by the neighbours of Canamunt. Their aim is to raise money for various charitable projects, including Cap Nin Sense Berenar - which translates as "No Child Without Breakfast", which strives to make sure no child in its neighbourhood goes hungry in the morning. They'll be collecting food throughout the day.

At 16.00 there will be a story telling session and family workshop. Then at 17.30 you can enjoy a concert of acoustic guitar by Kal de Palma while you browse. With the sun shining this sounds like a perfect way to spend a lazy Saturday and it's for a good cause too!
