FIBAR, Spain's national cocktail bar fair, took place in Valladolid (central Spain) from the 15th to the 17th November 2016... and the outstanding cocktail menu at Ginbo Bar in Palma was chosen as the best one in the whole country.
Ginbo Bar, located near the hip Santa Catalina neighbourhood, is famous for its extensive list of gin combinations. A team of creative bartenders known as the 'Soultenders' and lead by Borja Triñanes - 2016 World Class Balearic Bartender -, Matías Iriarte and Charles Harrington-Clarke, have devised an imaginative cocktail menu that has been chosen as the best in Spain by a group of 67 judges who have been touring the country sampling the most innovative combinations.
The menu includes 27 signature cocktails, showcasing Mallorcan produce when possible. Printed on a vinyl sleeve, the list includes delicious concoctions, from classics with a twist like the 'Espresso Martini' to a wide range of gin-based combinations like their 'Roiboos Gimlet' or the 'Tangerine', made with Mediterranean Gin Mare and local citrus fruits.
