2016 has seen a change in the competition's course, that now runs across the north and west of the island, avoiding Palma. Cuts will affect roads connecting Andratx, Inca, Playa de Muro, Manacor, Arta, Alcudia, Pollença, Sóller and Deia, among other towns.
Roads affected by Mallorca 312 cycle race 2016 are as follows, in chronological order:
- 07:00-08:30: Playa de Muro - Pollença
- 07:15-09:30: Pollença - Lluc (petrol station)
- 07:50-10:45: Lluc - Sóller
- 09:00-12:00: Sóller - Valldemossa
- 09:30-12:00: Valldemossa - Esporles (S'Esglaieta)
- 09:30-13:30: Valldemossa - Estellencs
- 09:40-14:00: Estellencs - Andratx
- 10:45-14:30: Andratx - Puigpunyent
- 11:00-15:45: Puigpunyent - Santa Maria (Camí des Raiguer)
- 10:00-16:30: Santa Maria - Selva
- 10:30-17:30h: Selva - Pollença
- 11:15-17:45: Pollença – Playa de Muro
- 14:00-19:15: Playa de Muro - Manacor (MA-3323)
- 14:45-20:30: Manacor - Artà
- 15:15-21:00: Artà - Can Picafort
