Mallorca tops charts & is car hire hotspot in Europe
There is no better place to jump in a car and go exploring than the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. And that, it seems, is exactly what holiday makers are doing.
Recent data from car hire booking agent, autoeurope.co.uk, reveals that the top holiday destinations based on car hire are Mallorca, Milan, Rome and Barcelona. This will come as no surprise to those of you who have enjoyed numerous hours exploring all the nooks and crannies of the island and stopping off for an idyllic picnic or a quick dip in the sea.
Mallorca has plenty to offer tourists in terms of spectacular scenery, rustic villages, hilltop towns and coastal vistas, and the easiest way to get around is by hiring a car.
