Port Adriano Music Festival seems to have every music genre covered this summer. The swanky marina in south Mallorca started its programme of live music in 2013 and, since then, they've hosted top international names like Kool & The Gang, Roger Hodgson from Supertramp, Gloria Gaynor or Tom Jones. This year, they're going even bigger!

Kicking things off, Spanish opera singer Josep Carreras will be the first musician to take to Port Adriano’s stage this summer on the 21st July. He will feature alongside soprano Sabina Puértolas and the Arts Symphony Ensemble orchestra which will be conducted by David Giménez. Carreras’s extensive portfolio includes more than 150 recordings, among which there are 50 complete operas, oratorios and classical recitals, as well as popular music.

Next up, Port Adriano welcomes a 20th-century legend as Spanish musician Raphael makes a much-anticipated appearance on the 26th July. He has an exceptionally impressive record history with 326 Gold albums, 49 Platinum, and the only Uranium delivered to a Spanish-speaking singer in the world, for sales of more than 50 million copies.

Ara Malikian Live at Port Adriano

On the 1st August, the award-winning and world-renowned Lebanese violinist Ara Malikian will be stopping off at Port Adriano on his world tour. Promoting his latest album, Malikian will be accompanied by an impressive band of drums, guitar, viola, cello, double bass and Indian percussion.

If you want to immerse yourself in some authentic Spanish culture with a twist, then pop the 4th August in your diaries as Las Minas Puerto Flamenco deliver an exclusive show. This singular show isn't traditional Flamenco but will depict a journey covering the history of the music that has passed through the ports of Spain. Coplas, mineras, cartageneras, soleás, malagueñas, alegrías, fandangos, cañas and bulerías are the main 'palos' or styles of this flamenco performance.

On the 9th August, the most famous family in the history of music will congregate in Port Adriano as The Jacksons celebrate their 50th anniversary. Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon will present an incredible show that includes all their mega-hits produced with their brother Michael Jackson. They had 5 number-1 hits, and 14 top-10 hits in their prime. You can expect to hear some of their most notable songs, like "ABC", "I Want You Back", "I'll Be There", "Rockin 'Robin" and many more!

And last, but certainly not least, the Birmingham-born band UB40 featuring Ali Astro Mickey will be bringing some first-class reggae music to Port Adriano on the 14th August. In their prime, UB40 sold 70 million discs over almost four decades of trajectory and have placed 50 of their songs in the UK charts. Although they are currently promoting a new album, you are likely to hear their famous renditions of "Red Red Wine" (Neil Diamond) and "Cannot help falling from love" (Elvis Presley) in their show.
