More Bus Lines in Palma Will Allow Dogs on Board

Good news for our furry friends in Palma de Mallorca

Palma's council wants to make life easier for dog owners in the city. They plan to increase the number of bus lines where people can travel with their best friend.

So far, dogs are allowed on route 30 since November 2013, and bus lines 2 and 20 from June 2014. They connect the city centre with animal-friendly areas like the beach of Es Carnatge or the park of Sa Riera.

In order to be allowed on board, dogs must be on a leash and wear a muzzle. A ticket costs 0.30€, and so far this year 717 of them have been sold. Hopefully in 2016 they will be even more!
