The World Travel Market opened its doors in London this Monday. The current strength of the pound means very optimistic predictions for next summer's tourist season, with Mallorca as one of the favourite destinations among British visitors.

Enquiries show that most of UK travellers will not choose any of the formerly very popular destinations for their holidays next year, such as Egypt and Tunisia, but are now heading to Mallorca & Ibiza!

This means that 2016 will probably reach new record numbers for the tourist industry in the islands. Only this year, the British market rose 2.5%, and visitors from the UK spent 9.5% more than last year. More great news for Mallorca and the Balearics, undoubtedly one of the top summer destinations in the world.
