It was a triumphant night for The Night Manager's cast at the 74th Golden Globes ceremony 2017 as they took home three of the coveted statuettes. The BBC six-part drama, based on a John Le Carré novel, was filmed in Llucmajor, Cala Deià, Port de Sóller and Palma among other locations in Mallorca.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association chose Tom Hiddleston as Best Actor in Mini-Series or TV Movie, while Hugh Laurie was selected as Best Supporting Actor and Olivia Colman took home the award for Best Supporting Actress, although she was not present at the event.

The Night Manager was one of the most popular series of 2016, not only in the UK but also in the US where it was broadcast by AMC. It even received 12 Emmy nominations, winning two for Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie or Dramatic Special - Susanne Bier -, and  Outstanding Music Composition.

Set across Mallorca, the show portrayed the stunning beauty of some of the island's most luxurious spots, including Maricel Hotel near Palma, Son Julia Boutique Hotel in Llucmajor, Ca's Patro March restaurant in Cala Deià or Port de Sóller's sea promenade; so much so that the island was even selected as one of UK's favourite TV locations by RadioTimes magazine.

Congratulations to Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, Olivia Colman and the whole cast and crew of The Night Manager!
