Tragic Weekend in Mallorca
Two accidents have resulted in fatalities this weekend in Mallorca
On Friday, a 9 year old girl fell into the sea from the boat she was sailing in with her parents near Sa Ràpita. Her head was hit by the propeller causing deep wounds.
Emergency services attended the scene but sadly, they could not save her life.
The next day, Saturday, a cyclist was run over by a vehicle as he was trying to cross the MA-19 motorway at Llucmajor. He had already gone across the three lanes leading to Llucmajor, and was going to do the same on the other side, towards Palma. He was hit by the car when standing in the middle of the road.
