Spain's National Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a yellow warning due to the first tropical night this Saturday. They have forecast that summer 2016 will see at least sixty nights when the temperature will rise over 20º.

This heat, together with humidity levels at around 30% on Saturday thanks to light rain, will mean it could be difficult to sleep, especially for those staying in coastal towns. During the day, temperatures could reach 37º on some spots of the island.

Tuesday will see thermometres returning to normal readings for this time of year.
