Prepare for a chilly weekend in Mallorca and Ibiza. The Spanish National Meteorology Agency predicts that this Saturday, temperatures will drop to around 6-15°C in Palma and 11-14°C in Eivissa.

There might also be some rain falling on the Balearics. This is due to the arrival of a polar air mass from the north that will affect the islands throughout the weekend.

During the winter will also see the arrival of El Niño, which is set to be one of the strongest since 1950. This phenomenon will probably bring a wet and mild winter to the Balearic islands.
