Cassai Gran Café

Mediterranean flavours with a modern touch in a historic Majorcan setting

Location
Ses Salines

Cassai Gran Café is located in the heart of Ses Salines, offering a unique dining experience where traditional Mediterranean cuisine meets contemporary innovation. Housed in a Majorcan property over three hundred years old, the restaurant retains its rustic charm with stone walls, native plants, and a welcoming courtyard, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. Soft lighting and carefully chosen materials enhance the inviting and elegant space, perfect for an evening of relaxed fine dining.

You can’t beat the jaw dropping location of this stunning venue on Mallorca’s rugged east coast. Their well shaded interior and terrace ensures you can enjoy marvelling at the idyllic turquoise waters whilst comfortably soaking up that pure Mediterranean ambience in view of neighbouring Island Cabrera. Their interior is simple, rustic, and beachy, offering a refined yet casual surrounding for either winter or summer events.

The menu reflects Cassai’s philosophy of blending tradition with modern trends, using only the finest products with designation of origin. Signature dishes include red tuna tartar, a 400g steak, John Dory, lobster rice, and freshly prepared tapas, alongside a wide selection of à la carte options. Each plate is crafted to combine flavours in a way that is both inventive and true to Mediterranean roots.

Weather permitting, guests can enjoy the outdoor terrace and take in the peaceful surroundings, just a short ten-minute drive from the pristine sands of Es Trenc. Whether it’s a leisurely lunch, a candlelit dinner, or a special occasion, it delivers a dining experience full of local flavour, creative cuisine, and relaxed sophistication in an authentically Majorcan setting.
