Sumaq Restaurant
Authentic Peruvian flavours in the heart of Santa Catalina
Nestled in the vibrant Santa Catalina district of Palma, Sumaq Restaurant has been delighting diners since its humble beginnings in June 2013. Originally a tiny kitchen on Sant Magí street, the restaurant opened with a lot of ambition and a clear passion for Peruvian cuisine. Less than a year later, in May 2014, Sumaq moved to its current, larger location on Cotoner street, offering more comfort while maintaining the warmth and charm that made it a local favourite.
At Sumaq, every dish is crafted with care and creativity, blending traditional Peruvian flavours with contemporary techniques. Diners can expect a thoughtful menu that balances classic ingredients like ceviche, tiraditos, and anticuchos with inventive creations inspired by the rich culinary heritage of Peru. The intimate yet welcoming atmosphere makes it ideal for both casual lunches and memorable dinners.
Over the years, Sumaq has grown in reputation thanks to its loyal customers, who continue to support the restaurant and inspire its team. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a returning guest, Sumaq promises an authentic taste of Peru in the heart of Mallorca’s bustling Santa Catalina neighbourhood.
