Inflatable family fun parks – trampolines, bouncy castles and assault courses in the sea what better way to spend a day?

In these hot hot days of summer there is only one place to be to keep your cool and that is neck deep in water. The beaches of north Mallorca have got you covered to make sure you can spend your holiday submerged in the sea without wasting a minute of fun.

Head to one of the inflatable fun stations of the MarAventura parks for a day of activity and family friendly fun that’ll keep you laughing, keep the kids busy and keep you cool all day long.

These sports parks are inflatable obstacle courses anchored out at sea like giant aquatic bouncy castles. Inflatable pathways connect each station and obstacle, and you and your kids can amuse yourselves attempting to conquer the assault course made up of rope swings, trampolines, floating walkways, climbing towers, rollers, hurdles, ramps and slides. You can run, jump, swing, dive, leap, climb, bounce and fall to your hearts content whilst knowing that you are only going to land on something soft and bouncy or splash down into the water.

The inflatable zones are located on Puerto Pollenca and Port D’Alcudia beaches and there is also one in Ca’n Picafort, (run by a different company but ultimately the same thing). The brightly coloured inflatable parks are easily recognisable and each one has a registration tent set up on the beach where you can purchase your ticket, be issued with your life jacket and be given a quick safety briefing by the staff there.

They have a life guard stationed out in the water amongst the guests at all times, whose job is to watch over the safety of participants but also to help anyone who needs it to tackle the obstacles and to help them climb back aboard if they fall in. The activity is open to adults and children alike and kids as young as 4 are welcome aboard, they do request however that anyone between the ages of 4 and 7 be accompanied by an adult family member for added safety.

A level of swimming ability and comfort in the water is recommended as the depth of water in which the obstacles stand is greater than standing depth and guests must be able to swim out to the obstacles and make their way back to shore afterwards, not to mention being comfortable when falling and slipping into the sea.

The zones are open from 10 am til 7pm and you can purchase a whole day pass to the activity for €25 and come and go as you please or go for an hour for €10. Be aware that all the running, climbing, diving and swimming is far more exhausting than it looks so it’s probably worth trying an hour first and seeing how you get on, especially if you have young children.

If you love it you can book the entire zone for a private party or event and not just for kids, MarAventura caters for birthdays and corporate events, team building exercises and also fitness sessions and competitions. Contact them directly if you wish to book private time on the course.

Embrace your inner child and head to the water sports parks for some extremely energetic and exhausting family fun, a great way to keep the kids busy and entertained at the beach. Soak up the sun whilst leaping and diving into the cool, refreshing water and return to lie on the beach and recover when you run out of energy, no booking required, but each hour long time slot starts on the hour so get there with time to spare so you don’t waste any time!
